I turned twenty-nine 3 days ago. 29, is the most common age of a marathon finishers. I must admit I’m one of those who desired of belonging in the finishers. Hence my stereotypical goal is to run a marathon by next year. I’ve been building a habit of long-distance running. Yesterday, I did my best record of running 10km in 1 hour and 3 minutes. Yes, a little above an hour, which is enough for me to celebrate my PB.
We used to do our runs on Sunday. Yes, the good old Sunday Runday. However, with Muew recent job change, we shifted to Saturday instead. I love our running route. We have a regular route from our place along alongside Geylang river that led us all the way to Marina-Barrage at ~km 5. I would normally turn-back there after the visual reward of panoramic skyline. Today, I didn’t go running, but I did bring my camera to capture the memory of my favourite running route. I’ll keep updating my progress (and a medal by next year!)
